It won’t be long now

Well only a couple of hours to go until our AGM. I must admit it is quite a daunting prospect when thinking about becoming president of one of the worlds most famous Burns clubs however I am looking forward to the experience. Can I take this early opportunity to congratulate President John Clark on a marvellous year in office.

    Thanks for the positive feed- back Calum, I’m sure you’ll have a brilliant year ahead as President. Almost started a wee mini-blog about last night’s AGM but I’ll leave this to you – Must remember, I’m now a Past President!! I can now reflect on many happy memories as well as an exceptionally good Crispy King Prawn, devoured at the Good Luck Chinese Restaurant at last night’s soiree. The fun continues………………
